Sundays 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Junior High Extreme is a youth ministry program specifically designed for the Junior High student. We begin at 6:30pm in the Youth Lounge with the SNL group. This gives everyone a half-hour of Hang-Out time. Youth can play pool, bumper-pool, foosball, four-square, or just catch up with friends.

At 7:00, teh JHE group moves to a different room where we begin the evening with announcements and an introduction of the evening's topic. The focus of each week is different and we intentionally choose topics that are relevant to Junior High students. Students are challenged to think about the topic at hand, and offer their opinon. We believe strongly that we need to challenge students to begin to make their own faith related decisions, and encourage them to consider what it is that they believe. We also enourage them to talk to their parents, to gain an understanding of how their parents experienced their faith journey. Everybody is given the opportunity to share what they believe, and why. We challenge each other to think hard and struggle together when we consider new ideas. Students need the support of both their families, and their church as they grow in their faith.

We have a variety of different activities to provide for different learning styles. Approaches vary from small group discussion, to role-playing, to drama, to games, to wild object lessons.

The evening usually ends with the sharing of joys and concerns, after which we all join in group prayer. The evening ends at 8:30pm.

In addition, there are Jr High retreats, mission projects, and fellowship events throughout the year.
